Day 1
Depart on your international flight from the UK. Flights can also be arranged from other destinations and we are more than happy to quote without flights if you prefer to arrange your own travel.
Day 2
Arrive to Kuching where you will meet with your driver and guide. The afternoon is left free to relax after your flight or enjoy an orientation tour of Kuching with your guide to learn about the history and heritage of Sarawak.
Day 3
A full day tour to Bako National Park - travel by boat to the beach where you will jump into the waters and wade to shore. Explore the national park keeping your eyes peeled for bearded pigs, proboscis monkeys, green pit vipers, flying squirrels and a whole host of tropical birds and other extraordinary wildlife! Walk the trails and relax at park HQ for a local style lunch.
Day 4
Start the morning with a visit to the Semenggoh Orangutan Wildlife Centre to catch the morning feed. Return to Kuching and transfer to Sarawak Cultural Village which is situated in the foothills of the legendary Mount Santubong. A living Museum offering an excellent introduction to local cultures and lifestyles. Experience the homes and handicrafts of the ethnic cultures and tribes of Sarawak.
Day 5
Visit the Damai Peninsula to discover the rare Irrawaddy Dolphin and spot some of Sarawak’s fascinating wildlife including the iconic Proboscis monkey and giant crocodiles.
Day 6
The journey into Mulu National Park is as incredible as the place itself. Fly high over the rainforest canopy before landing within the heart of the National Park. Continue by road to the Park HQ where you will head out on a walk to visit the magical Deer Cave, just in time for the evening bat show at dawn. This evening relax at your lodge or luxury hotel before a night trail with your nature guide.
Day 7
Enjoy a day at leisure in the awe-inspiring national park.
Day 8
Fly to Sabah, arriving in to Kota Kinabalu for your next adventure. Travel to the beach at Kota Kinabalu choosing from Gaya Island or Shangri La. Arrive and check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is spent relaxing on the white sand beaches in pure paradise.
Day 9
Relax on the beach, enjoy activities at your hotel or lounge poolside.
Day 10
Depart Borneo today - you will be transferred to the airport by your private driver for your flight home.

This active itinerary is an ideal introduction to Borneo for those short on time. Travel onward to Mulu National Park deep in the wild rain forests of Sarawak. A World Heritage Site famed for it’s enormous caves and unique pinnacle treks, a stay here is perfect for anyone looking to stray off the main tourist trail and experience one of the most beautiful natural wonders of Borneo. Continue on to the state of Sabah to enjoy a slice of relaxation before you head home.
