Take time to enjoy some delicious local cuisine this evening.
Day 3
After a lazy morning in your hammock or private terrace looking out for wildlife head to the famous Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, just a short walk from your lodge before also visiting the Sun Bear Conservation Centre and Proboscis Monkey sanctuary. These can be explored at your own pace without a guide, or with one of our wildlife experts.

Wake up to tropical bird song before heading out to Oxbow lake. Enjoy a coffee break on the lake as you search out the wildlife - keep your eyes peeled for giant crocodile and pygmy elephants, as well as wild Orangutan, Proboscis Monkey, Macaque and majestic hornbill!
Day 6
Today travel away from the river deep into the rainforests of Southern Sabah to the wilds of the Tabin Wildlife reserve. An area where rehabilitated Orangutan are released, this is a wildlife hot spot where you can spot many endemic species of mammal and bird living freely in the rainforest.
Day 7
Your time at Tabin Wildlife Reserve is spent trekking through the jungle, hiking to waterfalls, pitched up on the lookout for wildlife at salt licks and armed with a torch for the incredible night safaris on offer.
Day 8
Say goodbye to jungle and travel back to Kota Kinabalu by short flight. Arriving into the city you can either head straight to Gaya Island by boat or enjoy a city sightseeing tour, or a spot of shopping - the choice is yours! On arrival to Gaya simply kick back and relax in paradise.
